Photographer’s Note

Location: Yellowstone National Park near Petrified Tree.

This photo is pretty self explanatory. Ten tourist going for a horseback ride in Yellowstone N.P. The third guy from the front looks like he was having so much fun he fell asleep ;)

Side note: Here you can see the hit & miss affect of the 1988 fires which burned 36% of the park. The trees in the background weren't touched, while the closer trees were burnt to a crisp. This area of the park is sometimes referred to as “Black Bear Alley” because of the high number of black bears between Petrified Tree and Tower Falls. I’ve personally seen more bears than I could count in this area (well over 50 sightings in the past 10 years).
