Bonsoir Adrienne,

Nice shot - it looks (almost) as if it's straight out of a Western, which I guess it sort of is...
I wonder if you'd approached the POV a bit lower, you might have lost the ribbon of road running behind the bottom-third of the image. A more authentic "Wild West" look that way maybe?
Nicely seen - thanks for sharing it.

If you had the opportunity, would have been nice to wait for better light to avoid these nasty shadows. Also, and that one is basic: horizons must be straight... Hope this helps...

Hi Adrienne
Great shot of a beautiful place. Love the light of this shot and the wagon wheel in the forground brings it all together.
Cheers

Hi Adrienne, great spot and excellent photo. Only one (very minot) criticism - the horizon slopes quite a bit. If this could be rectified, it'd be just about perfect. TFS. Regards, Paul.

Hi Adrienne
Very nice landscape, your frame is quite good and the wheel is in a strong position in the foreground.
Well done.
Cheers.

Bonjour Adrienne,
il est vrai que cette photo fait penser aux vieux westerns. Une contrée bien aride que ta photo par ses couleurs, rend bien.
Tu rassembles sur une même vue, pas mal d'éléments typiques.
Regards.
Daniel.

Hello Adrienne,
a very captivating shot. Great textures and of course the outstanding background of the canyon. Dramatic sky and a great composition of dry objects put into interesting photo.

Foozi

Hi Adrienne, Just browsing and discovered this shot. I really like it. I was there last year and never saw a cloud in the sky. Your clouds in this shot really make the picture, as well as the title. I doubt if you will see this, but you have some great shots in your portfolio. Since I live in Arizona, I see the red rock and the canyons frequently and you have done them all in very good taste and effort. Cheers. Roger

Hey Adrienne,
A wonderful POV shot...I love the shadows and the clouds as most people photograph this on a bright sunny cloudless day...Now it is intriguing no one has mentioned the one item that is really out of place :)...the little light at the bottom of the post...it makes 19th. Century immediately 20th Century...I would have raised the camera just a bit and captured the wheel just above it...the ground in the foreground is mostly uninteresting and added more sky to give that "big sky" feeling. Nevertheless a great shot and I want to visit that place one day :)
PS> Can you edit your description to give the exact location of the POV...highway # ? looking nesw?
