Photographer’s Note

February is the hottest month of the year in Western Australia: this particular day nudged 40C! When these conditions prevail, families head for the beach and the water. This shot was taken at Seal Island, a small cay a few hundred metres offshore from Perth's northern suburbs - now an 'off-limits' Sanctuary Zone, established to protect the small seal colony that usually calls this place home. Snorkelling with the playful seals can still be enjoyed, however.

Great work. Very good POV, colours, contrast and Brightness.
Here in Germany is normally winter in february.But this year we had 15°C and today here in Berlin are 21°C. Looking to these picture im getting desire for summer.

Very nice shot! I really like the colours and textures here, especially those superb sweepy clouds and the rocks showing through the clear, shallow water. Good composition and positioning - looks very relaxing. Well done!
