John,
I think this photo is lacking a focal point or something, I'm not quite sure. I think if a person was standing against the railing and looking away from the camera could have added something to it. I just can't put my finger on it, I just don't know where to look - behind the trees or in the foreground? Trust me, my pictures still pale in comparison to even this photo, but I just think it needs something. Sorry I can't help with too many suggestions.
