Fisherman of IZMIR/KARABURUN.
Hes very good man and love to speak about life and ofcourse fishes and boats, we had very good bla bla while i was taken hes photos and he told me many trips about fishing etc.

Izmir / Karaburun`a gittigimde karsilastigim bu amca ile cok guzel bir balikcilik huhabbeti yapmistik.
Yasina ragmen gayet dinc gorunumunu temiz hava ve denize baglamisti. Eminim oyledir.Keske hepimizin imkani olsada kucuk bir kasabada denize ve dogaya yakin bir hayat surebilsek !!!

merhaba cuneyt,
i find that there is a lots of analogy in this image to what i do in rural poland, the portraits of good people... i also love to speak with the elderly people, learn the hints about life, and the facts from the past....

this is so interesting, and qith the crop - a very effective portrait where light was explored to the advantage of the portrait excellently...

Resmin dör dörtlük ama ismini tutmadım ! Ben de 65'i yakaladım ; ne olmuş yani "mutluluk" dediğin sadece gençlerin tekelinde mi ? Gel benim yaşıma hele sen de öğrenirsin !

Ne kitabını okudum ne de okuluna gittim, kimseler de söylemedi ama TE'de edindiğim görgüye göre profiler portre çekerken kellenin takke kısmını atıveriyorlar. Racondan mıdır, bilir misiniz?
Düşük f ile nice POV, netlik ve ışık şahane.
Hani kesin dönüş vardı yurda?

Hi Cuneyt, This portrait also has excellent light & shows a man who has seen life, great detail again, I always think that older people make the best subjects for portrait shots, because their faces have superb features like this mans, wonderfully sharp, kind regards Wilson.

I was going to comment the other photo with the old woman but then I remembered this old man really deserves a comment because it's fantastic. I really like his expression. You have such a series of genuine great expressions. I like the sunlight on his face, after all his face reflects a lifetime of hard work. Great shot once more!

a very nice portrait of this old fisherman.He's full of health and happiness.Obviously the most striking thing about this portrait is the way you have controlled the light.There is an element of awkwardness in his smile, but it is a shy awkwardness that adds to the aspect of the portrait. Nice work
