Photographer’s Note

Gölcük Lake:
This lake is an artificially barricaded lake and is located 13 km. south of Bolu Province. The environ of the lake is surrounded by pine and fir tree forests and its panorama with snow covered blanket is wonderful. There is a guesthouse of Ministry of Forest and a countryside coffee house at the banks of the lake. The lake and its environ is under the control of Western Black Sea Region National Parks Regional Directorate and is a promenade area.

Thats a lovely view of the green landscape. Rather busy one with every part of the frame full. I like the water and the reflections therein. You have a good pov and have planned the shot nicely. Nice composition.

Gölcük'ün sahane bir fotorafi, demek ki 10 Kasim 2005 yilinda çekilen bir vaziyeti. Ne kadar güzel renkler ve kadjraj. Ellerinize saglik,

Gönderdiginiz ayçiçek resimlerine çok tesekkür ederim. Ikincisi hatta bana daha yariyacak. Resimde ari varmi yokmu emin degilim, fakat logaritmik spiraller mühim. Resmin arkasini iyicene koyulastirdim, orta kismi son derecede net görünüyor -- bundan daha güzelini görmemistim. Sonra Powerpoint'a yerlestirip, konferans verirken dostum "Doktor Ahmet Gedikli'nin çektigi bir fotoraf" olarak göstericegim, ve dogdugum hastanede göevli bir doktor oldugunuzu anlaticagim.

Biliyorsunuz oglum, Michael Kemal Atalay," burada doktor. Büyükbabam da 1926-1929 yillarinda Amerikada (Harvard'da ve Johns Hopkins de okuyan bir doktordu). Ben Ankara dogum evimde dogdum zaman, annemin Sezaryan (caesarian section) olmamasi icin, zavalli annemi 26 saat cektirtmis. Annem arada anlatirdi.

The lake looks beautiful at the edge of the forest. You had good light and the reflections are beautiful. The bush in the foreground adds extra depth to the image.

Sevgili Ahmet,
Ben iki gün yoktum ama neyseki sende fotograf girmemişsin. Bende senin eskileri bir karıştırdım ve bu güzel fotografının farkına varmadığımı gördüm.
