Tulips at the Keukenhof Gardens in The Netherlands. My aim was to make the tulips equally as imposing as the trees in the background.

Hi Daniel,

Yes, you did manage in your objective. The Tulips do look imposing. The colours and contrast have come out well.

However, your focus seems to be on the tree rather than the flowers. The Tuilps are out of focus. It could have looked better if you had focussed on the flowers.

Nice shot from Holland, the Land of Tulips. Your choice of beeing among them to shoot is very nice, and produce a good effect.
Trees also provide good background to avoid having only blue sky.
