[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
I'm not sure this photo is really suited for TE, but there's a category "transportation", right? also, for me a Rolls Royce covered with raindrops that look like little gemstones is somewhat symbolic of Geneva The Rich City :) so I decided to post this photo. and yes, I should have left more space above the figurine, I just hope that doesn't totally ruin the shot.

this particular car is a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II.

Oh! What a shame Kristine. That was the first thing I noticed - even before reading your notes. Don't worry you are not alone - I have been guilty several times of this type of thing. Apart from that, it is a very nicely composed shot - the detail is excellent and the angle adds a touch of originality. Best regards, Roberto

Hi Kristine,
It's transportation, it's Geneva and tells a story, what more do you want. Excellent work for TE and excellent is your picture.
The way you composed this in the rain is very well seen and taken. The letters on front are very clear just as the raindrops on it. The only pick could be that the lady her wings are just touching the border, but that does not really bothers me....good shot.
Have a nice weekend, Henk

I like the monochromatics. It's elegant and powerful. It sparkles with luxury. It's too bad about the framing. It doesn't ruin the shot for me though. I loved it anyways.

This is just perfect black-and-white shot. Nice composition, contrast, details.
Many thanks for sharing it,
Alexandr

Hi Kristine,
its great with the raindrops.

Hi Kristine,
as you said yourself, you should have left the space for the figurine..Potentially a great shot with an excellent control of the light and good exposure.

Dear Kristine, you may also put this one in artistic category ;)
This one is properly exposed, and the composition is very good too, correct about the symmetry, a little "air" was needed at the top, but it still remains a great result

Many Regards
Stelios

a crispy clean capture, kristine. it seems, exposure has been controlled perfectly with dramatic blacks and detail in highlights. an interesting play of crossing diagonals. a pleasing photo overall with a distinct feel (almost sound) of raindrops hitting the hood.
