A page from history. My husband and I were among the first independent tourists to travel in China in the summer of 1983. No cars on the road. Buses and bicycles were the main means of transportation. Here is what rush hour looked like.

hi Eva, nice picture, a real documentary. i like all those bikes and people, the frame is really busy. very nice picture, i have no complaints except the colors which are a bit blueish. oh, and there is a circle with with the face of the guy in the hat inside. you just clicked there in PS I guess ;) anyway, good stuff
and I am going to Guangzhou, i mean Canton tomorrow, it is a very very different city now.
