Langkawi Cable Car Sunset over Mount Machincang

We caught the last cable car down from the mountain lookout. Looking back I saw this silhouette and the colours in the sky and took the shot.

It was taken in a moving cable car, hand-held with two kids and a frightened wife (she didn't like the cable car at all).

The lookout has spectacular views, well worth a visit.

Yo Jamie,

Nice use of the silhouette and particularly I like how it disects the frame pratically in half. I don't think this is a classical approach but think it is a little more abstract to use the mountain as a defining line of sorts. I like how the trees stand out against the beautiful sky.

i bet it was a unique experience to view this glorious sky from inside the cable car!
if you had included more of the sky and less of the mountain the result might be stronger ;)
