Photographer’s Note
Going down the escalator in Downtown Seattle Public Library. The library is a very interesting piece of architecture, with every floor a different color, red and yellow very prevalent. It is a nice place, unfortunately they do not allow tripods.

Hi Matthew!
You have got a great idea taking this picture, but the most impressive thing has been the way you have creat it. The effect of the light you have achieved, it is the greatest value of your image.
Very well seen and created!
Cheers!

Hello Matthew,
Very interesting shot with the centring using the symmetry of the escalator. Moreover the overall yellow color gives a atmosphere to the scene.
You have also performed a quite acceptable sharp photo with a shot of 3sec without tripod. The blur gives a feeling of movement which fits good to this subject.
Well done,
Yves.

They don't allow tripods? shame on them! smuggle a small one ;))
anyway, I like the effect. This yellow background makes it totally surreal, you preserved the lines very nicely straight.
Cool job!

Matt,
I like your PoV on which you placed your cam on the handrail to get it more on the center. Your exposure worked out well to achieve that blur of yellow light. That yellow is amazing the lighting fantastik.

Hi Matthew,
There is a lot of overexposition in this shot, but it gives an artistic touch to the photo. I like the effect a lot. And I think the way or the angle you took the shot from gives a quite surprising result. Keep posting such shots. Before I go, I have to ask why the library won't allow any tripods...
Best Regards.

Wow !
Great composition; light and colours seem almost impossible. The overexposition adds to the attraction of the photo. Quite a thing. Like it very much. Greetings T.

Hi Matthew,
Excellent picture I really love it! What an amazing place this must be to photograph. It looks like a time machine or something. Well managed shot with right shutter speed to catch the mouvement. The focus on the girl is nice, it's a pitty though that the person beside her got too blurred... otherwise this picture would be perfect.

Hello Matthew,
There's a spectacular effect which gives to the shot a S.-F. aspect. Perhaps a silhouette on the right could have been interesting. But your choice, in connexion with your title, works also well.
Olivier.
