Photographer’s Note
On a TE excursion... they had the big cameras, the expensive lenses, the tripods, the filters, the know-how.
It was a beautiful desert beach. The time? Sunset, of course.
I was there for the company and for a walk. No decent landscapes with my little G6. No know-how (say it thrice fast: no know-how, no know-how, no know-how :-).
So, I was left to shooting photographers, and I got a special pleasure out of shooting them like this: out of focus, blurrily worrying about their crisp shiny sharp pictures... :-)
Dedicated to my great friends Luís, Filipe and Pedro.

and I like this blurry photo : )
I can easily imagine different stories behind it... something very moody for me... Love the pastel tones also.
Very interesting result, even some would say that it is not really sharp ; ))

Hi Peter!
OK. If you saw the excursion as you present in the note, this picture fits well that mood.
Anyway, not so white or the people more far away, maybe it would be more interesting.

Hellow, Peter.
Not bad as result - I like the simple composition of the image with very soft colours, very pastel, and all that diluted by the blur like a watercolour.
Best regards. Grazyna.

I like it, because its different. I could see this expended to a whole series actually, and not just photographers, but everything. It breaks enough rules to be interesting and engaging. That should be the answer to your question about my composition and the rules of thirds: break those dumb rules whenever possible:)

ola peter,
actually not bad, this photo but neither something that would "hit my eyes"... interesting experiment, i think that it was good that you had just that limited number of people there...some sort of blured quietness - not bad...
best wishes, j.

Gosto, Peter. No know-how, no know-how, no know-how - consegui!
Excelente título.

Sabes o que isto me parece Pedro ?! O Deserto !!!

I like it! It would look amazing printed at a large size, hanged in a wall. The left guy's body expression is very good. The tilted centered horizon looks great and so do the pastel tones. Very nice.

Hello, Peter!
Nice capture in a very creative way!
I like it a lot, despite the lack of sharpness. :-)

Lá que está original, está :)
O tema e as cores são descansativas para os olhos.
Vale pela nota e pelo impressionismo.
Também gostava de ter muitos amigos fotógrafos :)

Hi Peter, excellent note, i had a smilereading it :)
Yes for sure you have excellent teachers, perhaps some of the best here on TE !
You made an interesting picture here, using your mind and eyes to spot a good situation, the blur is really good here on this beach.
Excellent, and for sure original !

I like this one Peter. The whole thing works as a blurred image in my opinion. The colors are really catchy. The note is great. I just like this and like the breaking of rules here.

Very good Peter. My mate is obsessed with sharpness. Me, I like the content. Parr for example used to use really cheap film because it gave vivid and garish colours. Always like your notes, gave me a laugh ;)

Hello Peter,
A humorous photo making fun of us crazy photographers. My wife would laugh at your commentary. I like your experimental photo.
