Tiffin time
 |
|
| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
Tiffin (snacks eaten during the day) are readily available on the streets of Madurai. ALL of these were very SPICY and DELICIOUS! (I tried them all!)
I was very happy here because for me - the spicier the better! |

great shot of street food vendors - tiffin is a word that when i was younger was used here in the uk by quite a few people - a word probably taken to india as 'tiffing' - a slang word for eating a light meal or snack out of normal meal times - and then brought back again - there was a cafe neaar us called the 'Tiffin Box' and a chocolate bar called 'Tiffin' too.
Thanks for sharing,
paul

Hello Anthony. A picture of full Exoitik, how one finds it only in India. Snapshot worth seeing and an authentic. The meal looks so enticing that one would like to access. Thanks for this photographically high-quality photo. Best regards, Wolfgang.

Bok Antonio,
Pozdrav,
Vedrana
There is such a "natural" way about this scene, Anthony. Beautifully captured and set up. We cannot see the strings, only the results which are first class. Love the way the food eventualy leads the eye to the men enjoying their Tiffin Hour.
best,
Francis

Zdravo mladi majstore. Great vignette, a spicy slice of life. I za me isto- sto vise papreno, sto bolje.Nice use of light here with the central face emerging from the darkness. Jesi li vidio moju sliku iz Malazije? Pozdrav. Klaudio.
