Photographer’s Note
Tiananmen Square is the large plaza near the center of Beijing, China, named after the Tiananmen (literally, Gate of Heavenly Peace) which sits to its north, separating it from the Forbidden City. It has great cultural significance as a symbol because it was the site of several key events in Chinese history. Outside of China, the square is widely known for the Tiananmen Square protests of 1989.
The square is 880 metres south to north and 500 metres east to west, a total area of 440,000 square meters, which makes it the largest open-urban square in the world.
NB: Notice the strange sitting down position of the guy forward. It looks peculiar but it is in fact a very current rest position in China.

Hi Maeva,
I like your Tianamen Sq. photo because of this guy squatting down with his head turned over his back. I'm looking at this photo with a laptop monitor, but I think the colors look nice from here. Maybe, you could've increased the saturation a bit to give it that extra kick.
I know that the anniversary is coming up soon, and watched a very informative documentary last night about the '89 protests. If you would like to watch the show, let me know and I will send you the link. Very good journalism.
All the best,
Brian

Well done, Maeva. You have managed to create an original composition from a world famous landmark. I also like the 'diagonal' line between the man and the flag pole. If his t-shirt had been any other colour if might not have have the same impact. Well well seen.
