Photographer’s Note

This is a tribute to all Portuguese fellows here in TE. Even though I took this photograph in Alfama (one of the oldest quarters in Lisbon), I think it could be seen (or imagined) everywhere in the world where there are Portuguese immigrant communities.

Some signs are just too obvious, and I guess we’ll always carry with us the smell of basil plants and grilled sardines, wherever we go.
