Colours in the street Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is one of my favourite spots in Bologna. It is a tiny street in the old part of the city, near the University area. This row of coloured buildings, from red to yellow and dark brown seems to call the photographer...
I like bright but cloudy days for such pictures. There is less contrast, the light is more uniform, and the colors are at best.

Ciao Stefano bella foto, coloratissima e di buona qualità sia per la pulizia che per la luce e il contrasto.
ottimo anche il POV e la vista lungo la facciata tagliando fuori tutto il resto.

I really like the colours here. As well as the POV -- the repetition of the window panels created a nice texture to the photo.

very nice colorful perpective of those houses. I like the close POV, emphasizing the vertical lines and windows. Well done! I know there is a ws without the plate but even so I decided to make my own since I didn't like the other version posted. I hope you like mine!

In questo caso il cartello disturba la composizione...e sono quindi d' accordo con i WS che ti hanno inviato...

Hi Stefano,
Again a very nice shot, I liked the second workshop as well (the first ws posted seems more like a draft to me). I like the colors a lot, but again (it depends on what you wanted to do), the saturation seems to be pushed a little bit too far to look realistic (if you want the picture to look realistic ;-)
I guess you worked on the RAW file?

colorful Bologna, as i still remember from a visit in the summer of 2005. this is a good capture of how shades change along the street, oranges, yellows among the predominantly red shades around.
