Photographer’s Note

This foto was taken at the end of the Peniche Pier, the entrance to the Port.
The Peniche Port is mostly a fishing port, located in the isthmus of the Peniche peninsula, sheltering the recreation boats and the ones making a scale in trip.
Due to the peninsula protection offers excellent conditions of shelter and entrance with bad weather from North quadrants. It is normally the base for visits to little islands of the Berlengas, Estelas and Farilhões.
As we can see in this photo, there are alot things anyone can do in this spot such as dating, fishing, sun bathing or simply rest seeing the boats coming in.
In the background we can see (from left to right) the beaches of Supertubos (world famous for surfing because of its tunel shaped waves)and the Consolation beach.

Está muito bonita Daniel. Gosto de ver aquela pessoa lá mesmo no fim do quebra-mar a olhar para... o infinito (talvez!!!). A composição está excelente, a definição muito boa e as cores bonitas. Talvez precisasse de um pouco mais de brilho. Mas, gosto como está.

Gosto de coincidências. Há pouco vi uma notícia da travessia Berlengas - Peniche a nado. Agora vejo esta foto de Peniche.
Gosto da composição com o farolim e os barcos já do lado de dentro do porto de abrigo.

Hi Daniel,

Nice one. Bit of movement in it with the boats, some people, someone fishing on the far end and strong reds and blues. That makes this a strong shot! With this composition I don't even mind that the horizon is in the middle. Probably no other way to get the watch tower on it. Nice one!

Bom dia Daniel, está muito bonita. Excelente diagonal das pedras a conduzir-nos ao belo farol que se destaca bem pelas listras vermelhas. Há dinâmismo na imagem, com os dois barcos a passar e a presença das pessoas a ajudar na atmosfera. Boas cores e enquadramento.

Oi Daniel,

Otima composicao fazendo uso do caminho para rientar nosso olhar ate o farol. As cores basicas vermelho, branco e azul sao atraentes e a inclusao do homem adiciona escala a paisagem. Otima profundidade de campo tb.

Ola Daniel bonita composição com o farol os dois barcos de pesca as pessoas , o vermelho do farol faz um bonito contraste com o azul , bom enquaramento.
