Photographer’s Note

I was fishing at Alexander Bay - a remote bay on the Southern Ocean, east of Esperence. The fishing wasn't going so well so I started luring this crab out with some octipus meat tied to some fishing line (no hook of course). The crab came out from the crack in the rocks to grab his snack.

Had to snap this shot with one hand on the line and one on the camera.

Interesting picture, I can actually see the line in the shot, just to funny. I go fishing at coast and it drives me nuts when the crap pull on your bait. I do love to eat some crab though. Nice job with the light and focus, with one hand!
