Photographer’s Note
The offroad in Israel become in the last years very popular, there are a lot of a 4x4 vhicles on the roads, from a very old to very new like in this picture.
4x4 vhicle became in some cases to status symbol even people that are not using the offroad ability were buying these cars.
In the picture you can see a novice driver that trying to climb a hard step and almost, because of a drivers mistake, found himself not on his 4 wheels.
We were waiting for this group to climb up so we could go down and when I saw that there are a beginers I sat with the camera and waited for a 'scoop'.
Fortunatly this driver left the accelaration pedal in the last second and went down for another try.
I blured his vhicle number in purpose.
The place is 'ma'ale vardit' in the Negev. Ma'ale in hebrew is a road that climb up.

Great action photo! (I own a Land Rover and I also like offroad driving). A good example of how not to do it... :-)

Good action shot. This reminds me of the road going up the Sani Pass to Lesotho from S.Africa. I can almost feel the dust in the air and also the tension of trying to get the truck on an even keel again. A few years ago I was in Dubai and went on a dune driving excusion; several of the 4X4's on that got stuck going over the dunes. 4X4's in Uk are also now regarded as a prestige symbol by their owners; and an environmental threat using an unnecessary amount of fuel by the Government.

I thought that the guy outside the car is the owner who doesn´t like the way the possible buyer of the car testdrives it ;-)
Very well composed and captured moment. Great brown overall tones.

Great action photo!
Really good timing here. I also like the composition a lot.
Maybe you could make the picture a little bit darker to improve it, but thats just details.
Great capture!

Looks very dangerous how he is driving. Thanks for the note and sharing the picture. Good composition especially with the guy on the right who is yelling at the guy in the 4x4

Very good moment of frozen action, Elroyie. The positioning of the car, the cloud of dust and the guy on the right who appears to be shouting something at the driver all build a somewhat dramatic feel. Very good sharpness and detail, and I like the "desert-ish" color setting. Great shot.

Amazing to see that car like that! You framed it very well and I like to see the dust and this man. Well done!

Wow - very excellent action capture - I like the way that landrover shows wheels - the man makes the shot perfect by giving advice - perhaps the driver could do without - Thanks Elroyie

Great action shot, the jeep seems to want to fly. You say fortunately, I say (as a photographer) unfortunately, a reversed vehicle would be funny
