Photographer’s Note
The impressive 3349ft Buachaille Etive Mor (From the Gaelic, red peak, big shepherd of Etive) is number 110 of Scotlands Munros. Buachaille Etive Mor is a magnificent mountain of four distinct peaks standing at the head of Glen Etive and overlooking the north-west corner of Rannoch Moor. The best known view of the mountain is from the north and east, from where the great rocky cone of Stob Dearg is the outstanding feature of the mountain.

Hi Marc,
You have a postcard right here! Excellent balance between the rapid fall and the hill, and the triangular geometry of the rocks complements well with the hill too! Very nice!

A very nicely taken shot with this lovely foreground interest of the slow water - I just wonder if 5 seconds was a little too long and what a less exposed sky might bring to the image although it marries reasonably well with the waterfall as it is.

Hi Marc,
First you have a very good gallery with fabulous landscape, i enjoy it!
This photo is beautiful too and the exposition speed you used give a very good result and something more special at your photo.
Perhap's it would be better posting a bigger photo that could permit us to see more details but...
Well done!
Regards.

Hi Marc, beautiful capture of this Scottish icon. The images I captured of this scene a few weeks past are very much brown tones. I really like the greens here which frame the falls. I remember trying to capture this fall without clipping it but because of the heavy rain the waterfall was too much spread, I found it tricky. I did manage it with two stitched images. Very nice work..

Hello Marc, so I see that you had some fun in Scotland. Weather seemed to be playful again and not very sunny most of the time. You still managed to capture very nice shots there. Even I've been in Scotland many times, I still didn't manage to capture this very famous spot the way I'd like to. Lovely work. TFS. Lucie
