A Making Hay Evening
 |
|
| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
| This was taken just across the road from my house. I have never seen the farmer make hay....he has always allowed the barley here to mature, and then he would use a combine to get the grain. This year he is making barley hay, not a common occurrence around here. Armstrong is in the north end of the Okanagan here in B.C. Canada. Its a place for Dairy Cattle, grain and hay growing, grapes for wine, and many fruits and vegetables. I am not sure if this is a great pic, but I have not been away from home much lately, so I thought I would post a local one. Cheers. |

Steve, I don't know if it is a great pic either, but it is technically ok, color is good, sky is not burned out, detail is good, subject is a bit blah but the note then makes it all come together into a picture which is exactly what TE (IMHO) is about. Good shot.

Hi Steve,
This is a great shot of the farming community. The swaths captured at an angle instantly lead the viewer to the farmstead in the distance. Very nice colors and excellent clarity. Great work and thanks for sharing. Gerald

Hi steve. A rural scenery, farm, and field always make me feel good. I like the peace & quietness of them all. Nice colors & lighting. Regards. Latiff.
