oh,that's jul23rd. it's a solar term named "great heat" that day.
2007 is the golden pig's year in china. "golden pig babies" are very welcome, so millions more babies are borned and to be born this year. congratulations & beat wishes!

You chose a symbolic photo here with the mother and child together. Symbolism apart I like the graphics of the image made stronger by the light/shade contrasts that have come out so well.

I like this sensitive shot, but I like your WS-posting even more though.
Kuzey looks really cute! What a great moment! I wish you three (and maybe some more in the future) health and happiness. And may Kuzey become an even greater photographer than his father.
Your wife seems to be fine as well. I wonder if she had smiled like that if she new that you would post that shot. If I had done that, Katerina would have killed me. I have to acknowledge, that you are a very brave husband.

The photo is not bad, very graphic, you might have offcentered the scene to the top left corner, but that's not so important because all the info is in the WS, so all my congratulations to Ipek and you, and welcome to the new member Kuzey :-))

... Nom you will have alternative occupations to TE during your long nights !
This being said I was attracted by your eyecatching picture. This is a very good example of application of black and white. In this case, it undoubtedly brings additional graphism and strength to the picture.
An exceptional contribution for me... I put it in my favourites.

Tam Korkut karesi olmus. Nerede merdiven gorsen kosarak gidip bekliyorsun anlasilan. ))) Bu fotograf ileride Kuzey icin guzel bir hatira olacak. O dogmadan kisa zaman once adina bir fotograf konuyor, ne guzel. Sepya devrin gayet verimli gordugum kadariyla. Buna da cok yakismis.

Merhaba Sevgili Korkut,
Hiç fotograf girmeden uzun süre uzman edasıyla kritikler yazan biri varmış ve ilk fotografıda sanırım oldukça kötüymüş ve o kişiye yazdığın kritik Utku ve Hakan'ı hem çok güldürmüş hemde mutlu etmişti.
Ayrıca bende kritiklerini okuduğumda dikkatli olma duygusunu yoğun hissedebiliyorum.
Bu arada bu güzelim fotografı unutuyordum az kalsın, süper kompozisyon, müthiş kontrast ve enfes ışık kullanımı görüyorum.

En beğendiğim karelerinizden biri. Kuş bakışı olan bir çekimle bu kare ancak bu kadar güzel olabilir diyor insan. Renklerine, grafiksel öğelerine diyecek söz yok. Mana boyutu da çok güçlü ve ortada. Bize düşen sizi yürekten kutlamak. Kuzey bebek için en iyi dileklerimle...

merdivenlerle alakali bir theme oluşturdum galerileri geziyordum ve bu fotografina rastladim, henuz üyesi degildim o zaman TE'nin.. ve cok cok geç bir tebrik olacak belki benimkisi.. ailen, minik Kuzey ve sevdiklerinle nice seneler dilerim,
