hello;
the other photos which you put into workshop are also good captures but this one maybe because of the way that sun hit the houses and on the street and the child figure made an pozitive addition on the compo and make one step ahead than the other 2 photos..
narrow streets and old houses are so beautiful.

Super image, ce jeu d'ombre et de lumière est de grande classe Le petit garçomn dans ce flux de lumière va ver le soleil, très bien vu.

Bonjour, Jonhattant.
Cela me rappelle une occasion ratée dans une ruelle de Pigalle où j'avais à faire à la même situtation : la lumière dans une ruelle perpendiculaire, et les gens qui passaient, mais toujours dans une mauvaise compo (plusieurs, en chevauchant), et finalement, mes photos de cette situation-là ne sont pas exploitables...
Là, tout est comme il faut : la compo, les ombres, la lumière et le petit bonhomme qui passa au bon moment.
J'aime beaucoup.

After all those empty streets and places, you cannot guess how happy i am to see a living photo from you. You have used the human element! >:D
And this resulted great my friend.
All the elements: Light/shadows, exposure, movement, graphism, composition, story, sharpness, colors... all work in a beautiful harmony here. Excellent that there is no sky, the street gives a closed feeling that makes the viewer feel almost there. For my taste, this is one of the best in your gallery. Congrats,

Des détails pleins de finesse dans les ombres (le pavé en particulier) et la partie éclairée pas du tout surexposée. Et puis il y a cet enfant qui passe, ce qui donne une composition exceptionnelle.

Nice shot but before I read the note I was initially drawn in by the question of whether the child was in trouble and going home or if he was on his way to get in trouble or do something he knew was against the family rules.

In any case it is a great shot. Nice shadows without burning out the bright spots.

Ombre et lumiere en effet, et tres bien mesurees toutes les deux, je trouve le garcon tres bien place pour contraster sur le mur, pour pinailler ce serait encore mieux s'il marchait dans l'autre sens pour entrer dans l'image.

The child walking in the deserted street is well illuminated by the strip of sun. I like his posture and the details of the wonderful buildings which surround him in this narrow street. Great textures on the cobbles too. Your timing was perfect.

Maybe I like the three picture, also of the two WS.
But I find these picture wonderful through the boy lovely in the sun, exactly a big mister.

Perfect positioning! The light coming from the side street is like a spotlight on the boy, while the rest of the street is in darkness. Wonderful body language too, which really make this interesting. Great work!

Bonjour jonathan,
c'est effectivement à mon sens la meilleure des 3 car c'est celle ou la lumière est la mieux gérée. Ces photos avec de forts contrastes sont toujours délicates. C'est dans ces cas que le traitement Hdr devient intéressant et donne ces meilleurs résultats.
Une belle compo et l'état d'esprit du gamin semble vraiment très bien capté.

Excellent pictures in this very photogenic surrounding. The only critique I can think of here is a link to your TL interpretations. I think that pictures also deserves the attention of TE-members.
