Photographer’s Note
Agios Athansios village on Mt. Voras (Kaimaktsalan), near its peak (2524m.), on an altimeter of 1200m., was founded in 16th century. Been quite isolated, it was abandoned in 1980s and its residents moved to the new Agios Athanasios village, some 5km. farther. In the 1990s although, due to its closeness to the new ski-resort on Voras, some of the old houses were restored and a lot of new ones and many hostels were built. Today is one of the most favorite winter's touristic destinations in Greece.

Nice glimpse on this charming little village. Beautiful natural colours and perfect exposure and contrast.
Greetings from Belgium.
