Welcoming (and shy) sight
along the way from Phander lake
to Gilgit.

I stopped on the way to take a photo of the nice countryside when I was approached by this young girl with her brother and a friend.
They were curious but brave as they were terribly shy too.
I offered them some sweets, told my name and practiced the few little words I know in Urdu...
Then I showed them the photo I took before and only later I asked to take some photos of them...

lo sguardo di questa ragazza è incredibile: c'è tutta la dolcezza della sua età ma anche la furbizia che i bambini di questi paesi devono avere per sopravvivere.

A nice expression captured. Looks like you missed your focus a little, also you needed a slightly deeper DOF to get her chin and her forehead in focus together. Great lighting though. Well done.

Hi Luca, this is a lovely portrait. Probably a bit blurry and not well focused on her face and overexpossed but her expression covers them.

this is a simply gorgeous portrait. the smile and shyness makes it special. the colors and light were good enough to catch the spontaneity of the mood. The image also suggests of the ethnicity of the pretty girl.

very nice the portrait of Salima with this impressive but at the same time a shy smile.The colours are beautiful, your POV is first class and the light is excellent.The most striking thing about this portrait is the way you have controlled the light and her tilt glance . The colours are very soft, you've avoided over-saturating. Well done.

nice captured emotions of this girl, but wehre is sharpness ?
also I think that light was too strong so white part of the girl's cloths are too bright .

Belle photo de cette enfant qui sourie, elle a les joues rougient par le soleil et ses yeux rient aussi comme chez les enfants, c' est tout le visage qui rit, pas seulement les lèvre comme la plupart quand on prend de l' age. Amitiés Thomas

Wow, great expression and eyes. Looks like harsh lighting but you handled it well. I like the deep blue sky in the background especially - to me it looks like the whole photo was exposed around it instead of the girl and the result came out very well. I would like to see it a bit sharper (I can here my 18-200 screaming now - see previous post) but the photo works and works well.

Nice catch.

What an expression and wow, she has amazing eyes. The head tilt emphasizes the shyness. I wish she was just a little more in focus but that's a minor point.
