Photographer’s Note
Gravesteen, or Castle of the Counts, in Gent. Built around 1180. Taken from around the side of the castle. Scanned in from an old film camera. I liked the contrast and the somewhat blue sky around the clouds, with pretty calm water for a little reflection.

But it's a good shot. I assume, the cloudy weather has been your enemy, as it hasn't given you the chance to show the castle in all its crude splendor. Take the chance to shoot it under clear sky.

It´s a pitty you cropped the battlement at the head for so many dark water. But it´s a nice castle indeed.
