Photographer’s Note

Prise de vue de la campagne luxembourgeoise entre Fentange et Kockelscheuer.

Ce qui m'a incité à prendre la photo , c'est certainement le beau ciel bleue avec les nuages, mais également le contraste entre les couleurs de la campagne et la maison rouge m'a vraiement enchanté.

Jean Claude, great shot, it is all you say, contrans to the land an a beautiful sky. The metal fence posts and wire fence make it look like a scene from America. Your shot has captured this well, good color and detail and nice saturation levels.

Hi Jean Claude,
Wonderful skyscape with the clouds that look as if they are running.
Nice detail of the bright red house. Was that real colour or is it just oversaturated? If first, someone hs strange taste in house painting :)
The curvy road makes nice entry into the scene.

Hi Jean-Claude,
The striking contrasts here are most effective, with the large expanse of sky full of scintillating clouds and the red farmhouse really making the scene sing. I love the perspective, with the eye following the road well into the frame and good symmetry created by the fence posts on either side. First rate work, JC.

Je vois qu'on a des ciels très intéressants aussi au Luxembourg. Belle composition qui laisse une large part au ciel tout en incluant un chemin, un bouquet d'arbre et une petite maison rouge pétante. Lève le pied quand même sur la saturation ;-)
Une belle photo de promotion pour la campagne luxembourgeoise.

Photo is fantastic. The composition is great.

I will tell you that it is hard to take photo like this in Luxembourg. When I drive around, I have problems to stop the car and take my camera and go shoot for a while. Why? There is no space to park the car and not a posibility to stop on the side of the road, because fences and gates are all over the place. How did you do it? Walk or bike? ;)

A wonderful cloud formation, created in different altitudes with the dominating wind higher up!
This is a pleasant composition with an attractive colour palette...
A well balanced composition, where the road makes a fine lead-in to the eye-catching red house!

sicuramente qui il protagonista è il cielo, che grazie alla sua particolare nuvolosità, rende molto appagante la vista di questa foto.
La casa rossa attira su di essa l'attenzione e crea un bel contrasto cromatico con il blu del cielo.
