Nicephorus, congratlations on your 200th! What a fine shot it is to celebrate. The colours of the water are superbly captured and you have a great composition with the diagonal line of the cliff. Obviously no need for a sky in this image. The tiny point of the swimmer helps to appreciate the scale as we look down from the heights of this rocky cliff.

At the beginning of our participation in TE it seemed impossible to us to get to reach these numbers of photos, that other already they had, but this site is so pleasant for the fans to the photography, who we almost obtained this amount of photos published without realizing.
Your photo of celebration is spectacular, and the turquoise color of the water with different tones is amazing and very beautiful.
It is a splendid photo.

Wow never have I seen blue like this. It's reasons like this, that flock 1000's of people to Greece every year. Amazing it's such a beautiful capture. Well done.

I didn't see this shot until now! Congratulations for all this time and all these shots! A beautiful and interesting gallery, crowned for now with the 200th, and really beautiful. The blue color is incredible, and the composition very good. I like the intense light over the slope, but, mainly, I love the sea!! Thanks.

Hi Nicephorus,

I bumped in this photo yesterday allready, wanted to leave something..but no time left..so now is the time. Top top top photo!
The blue is just great, but as natural as the Ionian can be, and I can know it, cause I've been at Lefkada (,Kefallonia, Ithaca and Zanté too). Top top blues! I'm really enthousiast about it! Great photo for your 200th celebration. Fine contrast, even within the vivid blue it is amazing. Good sharpness, nice inclusion of some greens. Fine compo, Pov.

Hehe lonely swimmer..he or she should be enjoying..swimming in all this blue!

More of these please!

I have seen this kind of sea blue tapestry in Cephalonia, amazing! From your photo, it looks like it is the "Ionian Blue Tapestry"!!! Excellent shot!

Excellent 200th shot...
I like alot the diferrent colours of blue tone so contrast against the green nature behind, nice framing it gives viewers a 3D sensation. Beautiful one Niki thanks for your great contributions.

Very nice colours especially with the diffrent tones of blue. Very neat composition.
Personally I find the roots/vein on the bottom left a little distracting, perhaps photoshop or a little crop to take it away?
and again great shot.

Τα χρώματα που μας δίνεις είναι απλά εξαιρετικά. Τροπικά χρώματα θάλασσας σε συνδυασμό με κλασικό ελληνικό τοπίο. Πολύ καλή σύνθεση, με το που τη βλέπεις λες αμέσως ότι πρόκειται αν όχι για Λευκάδα, για Ιόνιο σίγουρα.
