Photographer’s Note
The "Hoge Veluwe" National park near Otterloo. It's rare to find so much open land in the Netherlands. The park is home to the Kroller-Muller Museum, one of the best museum buildings in the world, housing a fine collection of Van Gogh works. This picture was taken in the late afternoon, after a brief rain shower. The light was unearthly, I think I captured a faint sense of it...

Chris,dear friend,
I found it poetic,with its simplicity,with the shadows that goes to distance,with the warm tonalities and kind of the light in uper side of the shot,a great simple photo,Thanks for sharing it from your archives.

Beautiful light yes. And this is exactly how most Dutch know the Veluwe.
