Excellent landscape. Great use of alternating bands of light and shadow; I particularly like the clump of grass in front and the way it's lit. Good positioning of the mountains in relation to each other as well.

Nice work here, you really used the light well to highlight a near patch of grass, giving us some near context to make it feel like something we are actually seeing rather than some distant dream, to hold in the front of the frame with a hard shadow, adding a sense of mystery, and then letting the green of the near hill set it off from the rock of the distant crags. Maybe a bit narrower on the aperture (f/9, f/10) would hold more sharpness in the distant mountains, if possible to control manually on the S5500 Thanks for this simple, well-planned composition!

E' proprio vero, mentre viaggio in giro per il mondo, pur in posti bellissimi, mi capita spesso di pensare che in Italia c'è quanto di più bello si possa desiderare. Nel nostro paese c'è tutto e ai massimi livelli: arte, storia, natura, mare e montagna. E le dolomiti sono davvero uno spettacolo unico, grazie per avermelo confermato.

Hi, Andrea. The sky is grey but it allows the rock towers to stand out quite well against it. The contrast with the green part works very well. You did well to include the grass in the corner to add depth and to create a new contrast with the shadwoy strip behind it.

Classica foto di wilderness come piace a me. Tutto perfetto, colori, luci e ovviamente soggetto. Per fortuna che non ci hanno messo le eoliche!
Il cielo nuvoloso ma illuminato rende l'immagine ancor più interessante che con un cielo azzurro.

Well, this is absolutely stunning. The Dolomites are true Nature's wonder, i had a pleasure to see them from Passo di Sella and Pordoi, to wander through Val di Funes. But never reach so high, so must come back there soon. As for the image, it is excpetional, due to Your skillful composition and the powerful light and shadows You captured. Clear and crisp picture from a wonderful location, thank You for that.

imposants sommets qui jouent avec les nuages et le soleil pour des jeux de lumières donnant d'interessants contrastes.
Plusieurs plans aux lumières et couleurs différentes, participent bien à la construction de la profondeur.
