Photographer’s Note
From this side the Priory which is still in use as a church can be seen, also the trees which make photography from the front a little difficult. The graveyard too is stil in use.

Well, I guess graveyard photos do not get much attention on TE. Anyway, the abbey in the back does not seem to be the point of focus here. I like the off-center cross in the foreground. Would consider moving a bit closer, perhaps with a wider angle lens, for a possibly more dramatic composition. The green carpet is very attractive, but it does look as if the color is boosted. Then again, may be not. Regards,
Hakan

Very pleasent photo and a memory as I went trout fishing along the river with my father, must go back one day with him as its a very beautiful spot. I like the lighting in this shot, a little subdued but atmospheric

Hi Vic,
The nature of this place .. against this vibrant green ... powerful and evocative .. I love the way the trees frame it .. and the path .. very special.
take care,
John
