Photographer’s Note
Another shot from Sidari in Corfu of the many sandstone inlets. The sandstone cliffs eroded by the sea show all the layers of deposits over millions of years. To the right you can see that someone has crawled along the narrow ledge to carve his or her name, sooner them than me, as it is quite a drop to the sea below. In the distance the mountains of Albania can be seen,
Taken once again an hour before sunset to get the golden light to fall on the sandstone cliffs.

Hi Michael,
I'd never guess this shot was taken in Greece.
You chose a great point of view, and depth of field is impressive. I like the perspective enhanced by these layers in the cliffs, that ends with the mountains far away.

Very nice work son. The colours are terrific and the exposure is so good one can see even the slight changes of colour in the golden strata. The POV leads the viewer to the background mountains although by the look of that narrow channel I don't think I'd want to physically follow it.

Wow, Michael, where do you stand to get a view like this through those cliffs?? I love the way one side is shadowed and the other has that great light. Looking through like that gives this shot amazing depth and I like the way you can even see those far off mountains. What a shot! Nicely done!! Have a great week,

Good lighting on the right side, glowing in the last of the sun. The lines of the cliff lead the eye right to the mountains of Albania. Excellent depth and sharpness fron to back

Hello Michael. Stunning composition and marvellous exposure. The light and shady parts are very well rendered and sharp. The view of course is awesome, and the distant mountains make a breathtaking backdrop to the perspective you've achieved. Great shot.
