Photographer’s Note

To me the Gondalas in Venice represent the place better than any other single thing. This picture actually made Venice look peaceful which of course in the summer it isn't. There was no post processing except a small amount of sharpening.

A romantic view of Venecia that use a tipical symbol of the city. For me, the gondole is maybe too close from the right border.

A very nice framing to show some symbolic features of Venice, a bit of canal with an old door, the wood pillars (Venice was built on wood pillars) and the prow of a gondala. Very nice light, just perhaps a slight potential of improvement in the sharpness.

Hi Roger. It is perhaps a right decision to post as it is without any PP.Looks original. One edge of the Gondola framed between two poles is great. We have a place here where the boats ferry across backwater within the countryside. Also called the Venice of the East. You may like to have a look in my gallery. This shot reminds me of Shakespeare. Hello Roger,

Surprising the gondole which emerges to the corners of the building. The black of the gondole arises very well in the medium of the tone brown ( wood, walles and... also the water)
