Hi Rafal, I hope all is well. Cool use of shutter speed in this one, adding just about the right touch of movement and dynamics to the group exercise without losing too much of the rhythmic pattern. The contrasty b&w is rather suitable.

Awesome shot, Rafal, tis one really rocks! The massed bodies (so liked of Koreans Nort and South) and that lovely motion blur in the front. So well timed...
Kudos - one for DAH for sure, eh?
Best,
Francis

This is brilliant Raf, combining art and sport through photography is something i love and you've achieved that here. Spot on.

What a shot, Rafal...love those blurry legs showin the speed n power of the kicks. n I think BW works so well with the white robes and also gives a graphic feel to this. and u shot it from a superb viewpoint...bravo!

The loss of individuality in the ritual practice of the discipline. Like a flock of birds taking off. Fantastic. -Hugh

WOw, the blurred motion gives a lot of drama. Great angle of view and framing.
Regards.

Hi Rafal
Very dynamic shot with just the right balance of movement and sharpness. B&W was the right choice to add contrast given that almost everything is B&W anyway. What's the difference between Taekwondo and karate ?
Regards
Nikki

Stunning bw, not only for its judicious shutter speed but also because of your choice of moment and distance that make a tremendous difference. A gorgeous, sensuous work of your TWD series and I hope you will upload more of it.

Hi Rafal,
Looks like an army on parade, nice capture of the coordinated movement, I like the guy in black suits in the upper left corner, a funny and contrasting element, who are they ?
Have a nice day,
Jean-Yves

Hi Rafal, I think I like this shot most from your Taekwondo series, the "collective" moving blur creates a sort of veil above the scene, an effect which I don't know if I have seen before. An impressive shot.

Cheers
Alexander

This is an excellent idea Rafal. But I wonder if a closer framing without the "empty" non-action spaces in the top laterals wouldn't increase the impact of the shot. A frame filled with action, repetitive black heads, butterfly kicks... With a perfect anchor on one of the thirds. Just a thought...

Hey Rafal,

A flock or army of fighters! A fantastic syncronized motion capture!

Pozdrawiam ;)

Hi Rafal, splendid shot! So much motion. You can feel the power of the excercise in this picture. This overveiwing shot is very well timed.

Witaj.

Wielgasne, wypasne, mocne, dobre.
Podoba mi sie ten szeroki i wysoki POV, no a przede wszystkim, mieszanka ostrosci i rozmazania.

Gigant.

Pozdrawiam. Grazyna.

Besides the abundant repetition I really like the dynmic movement your choice of exposure time created. While I love the counter point of static men in inverted clothing in the upper left, I think the upper right corner is the weak point of this image. It's IMO not the difference to the main action but the eye catching contrast and busy-ness of the too mundane random stuff along the wall. Maybe some selective reduction of contrast, brightness and/or sharpness can push back the attraction of that part.

Still a wonderful image worth decorating any journalistic work about that sport, place or event.

Hi Rafal

Hope all is going well. Wonderful motion blur & tonal range. I'm off to Daegu next week on a school excursion, & also to buy a new cellphone. Greetings from Hamyang. I drove through the town of Jinju a few times this week to get my ARC card renewed in Masan.

Cześć, RafaŁ!
Niesamowicie dobrałeś parametry! to rozmycie nadaje zdjęciu niesamowitą wręcz dynamikę, doskonale pasującą do tematu. Robi wrażenie!
pozdrawiam,
Grzesiek

That boy in the first line was losing the rhythm :)Exceptional captured the motion here !!!And as usual, you did a great job
Hugs

How is your little one,I didnt hear nothing new about him.Growing fast ?

a well chosen shutter speed for sure... b&w looks fine, though somehow i am curious abt a colour version at the same time... i'd have liked to see a closer pov too... a nice piece in a series overall...

Hi Rafal, i missed this one..
it is a fantastic image!
i like a lot the action here and the movement you captured..
perfect conversion
bravo!
ciao!
