I like the contrast of the red buildings against the green of the fields and hills. The stormy sky brings a very damp atmosphere to the shot which I like too. I see you have tried to provide depth and even more colour by including the pink flowers in the foreground, but I think you have only partially succeeded there. By putting them so central they have lost a lot of impact. They would have been better in a corner. Also, all the buildings are basically clustered along a narrow band in the middle of your shot. More depth could have been achieved if you'd aimed for some vertical separation of the foreground buildings from the ones in the mid ground - i.e. I would have gone closer to those buildings and forgotten about the flowers.

Les couleurs sont typiquement norvégiennes (un peu saturées peut-être?) et le paysage splendide.Pour moi, le ciel occupe un peu trop d'espace dans la photo et je crois que j'aurais coupé au moins 1/5 de l'image en haut. Ce n'est que mon impression et j'aime beaucoup ta photo.

Hi Jean,
It is incredible how these red coloured houses can look vivid even on a cloudy day such as the one you took photo on. They make such a nice contrast with the lush green nature around them. The composition is well balanced with plent of details to observe.

Bonjour Jean,
On a fairly cloudy and dark day you managed to capture all the details very well. It looks as if you enjoyed your trip through Norway. Those red painted houses look great in the landscape and of course when in Norway there has to be a boat in the picture - I think there is a boat for every person in that region.

C'est une très jolie composition qui sent bon la rosée sur l'herbe. Elle semble avoir été prise le matin, quand la brume quitte les montagnes.

excellent scenery wonderful colors of nature and houses. the houses seem so lacked of protection against cold the walls seem very thin. whether it is the fog or clouds that is fantastic
