Sunset pagoda Photo

Photographer’s Note

I took this shot whilst the Kecak dancing was being perfomed, I have a picture of the monkeys and the pagoda in my last last last post I think.

This was a shot that I waited for, for a long long time. It was diffifult, there were many many photographers there taking the same shot, it was just so harsh competition to get it right.

I just thought the pagoda was a different sunset picture.

Very interesting image, a more unusual sunset with a rather somber atmosphere. The contours are excellent. The file size is at 25 kb much too small and because of this the sky displays strong jpg artifacts.

Beautiful shot of this place again. The silhouette is terrific here with the pagoda very well placed. It gives a good protective feel like a place to go to once the sun is set and the night has come. The way the sea and sky merge invisibly is beautiful. It's a very warm photo. There are strong artifacts in the silhouette but that's not a problem with the actual photo. Very nicely done.

Very nice shot of a particular sunset. Beautiful sun halos rendered here and a shy under exposed foreground give a very beautiful picture.
