Simply amazing! It almost looks like a painting. Superb pastel tone capture of colours and reflection in a stunning composition. Superlatives all around, I know, but to me this is what photograhpy is all about.

Este céu está maravilhoso. Até parece que tens um olho de um deus a espreitar lá do canto superior esquerdo e a ver o que andávas a fzaer. A estrela solar lá no meio da foto é linda mas há uma coisa de que eu não gosto e que me distrai cada vez que olho para a foto. É aquilo preto e redondo do lado direito.
Mas de qualquer maneira é umas dás páginas mais bonitas do teu calendário. Espero que já esteja impresso em Janeiro!!!

So now you revealed the common nominator of the calendar pictures. Obviously there's no rule when the central composition works. But here it does better than in September. Colours excellent as usual. Those bubbles on water are nice. And that loop quite funny.

Cool 3D effect that teh reflection has on the water here Luis, almost as if we are looking into the milky way with its whispy clouds. Colour is also good.

Thats a cracking scene you've captured here Luis. I also love the colour and details of the clouds, and the reflection of them on the water. I also like how the points of the sun, and their reflection.

Espectáculo!

Está muito boa esta foto, desde o céu fantástico às cores vivas e fortes e aos reflexos perfeitos. Gosto também daquelas bolhas(?) à superficíe da água, também iluminadas pelo sol de final de tarde.

this is not just one of those ordinary everyday sunset shots of TE luis... yes the sky looks perfect with the peach clouds also the silhouettes reflecting on the water... but the best part is the texture of the water... what is it?... little pebbles?... air bubbles?... i m still trying to figure out... amazing job...

Superb of warmth and reflection. I think a centered composition works well on such mirror picture, better than a 1/3-2/3 would do. Did you use the ND to equalize the rendering of real and reflected part ?

Olá Luís,
Já li umas observações sobre algumas regras de proporções, etc. Mas normalmente não ligo a essas coisas. Não sei se esta quebra alguma regra ou não, mas se quebra, ainda bem, pois o resultado é bastante agradável.

e observado que, ultimamente, o filtro 0,9 ND está a surtir efeito para estes teus horizontes "equilibrados"...
Li algures (Bryan Peterson) que a melhor luz num pôr do sol..é quando ele acabou de o fazer... será?

Mais uma explendida fotografia da Reserva Natural do sapal de Castro Marim e Vila Real de Santo António.
Esta fotografia foi tirada na fronteira entre os dois concelhos.
Penso que este espelho de água é o Esteiro da Carrasqueira (e o que me faz identificar o sítio, para além da orientação solar, é o pau que o Ribeiro António comenta... está ali há muito tempo... e é ali que todas as primaveras e inícios de verão está uma ave plantada).
