| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
| Hobart is Australia's smallest and most southerly city in Australia, and is home to approx. 190 000 inhabitants. The city itself has developed around the Derwent River, which provides much pleasure to the residents. When travelling from the small, quaint airport to Hobart city centre, one has to cross the Derwent River via this amazing bridge. I took this photo while taking a pleasant ferry ride up the river, and tried to get a slightly different perspective to the norm. |

Hi Grant!
Good shot of this bridge.I like your POV ,the perspective and the good contrast with the nice blue tones of the sky and the sea.
Greetings from Germany ,
Leo
Hello Grant,
What a beautiful sight, this bridge crossing the Derwent. I have not yet been to Tasmania but I hope to someday. It reminds me of the Gateway Bridge here in Brisbane, although the surrounds here seem more tranquil. I like the lush green on the far side of the riverbank and the undulation of the hills on the horizon. The weather looks wonderful; Tasmania does not have the most consistent weather so you were very fortunate! Great photo, nice colour.
