Photographer’s Note

Station of the Docks berths:
inaugurated in 2000, currently it is one of the visited tourist points more of Belém. In the three sheds of English iron of Station of the Docks berths, you can to see exhibitions, shows or simply appreciate the typical food in one of its excellent restaurants.

Hej Leonor,
A lovely view along the path. Together with the fence it leads the eye nicely into the photo. The yellow colour is very attractive and I like to see the activity of the harbour with the crane and that big ship. Well captured with a pleasant light. Thanks for sharing!

Ótima perspectiva com boa profundidade ficou bem o rapaz andando por cima da sombra do corrimão. Composição bem balanceada entre os elementos. Boa luz, cores bonitas e ótimo trabalho de agudez. Grande trabalho.

Hi Leonor,
Well composed with good contrasting hues and tones, as well as effective shadow effects. I like the way the industrial sector is combining with people oriented shops and restaurants, a positive trend in many parts of the world. The large ship at dock in the distance really enhances and there is good depth. A good capture.

Belle photo de ces dogs pris sous un bon angle, avec ces grues en enfilades,belle vue de celles ci qui ont un de leurs pied dans l' axe et l' autre qui nbous montre cette suite en longueur. Bonne netteté qui nous permet de visualiser beaucoups de détails interressant.Bonne profondeur de champ.

Olá Leonor,

que bela perspectiva desse lugar você resgatou aqui, mas o que deixou a imagem bem atraente foi esse amarelo intenso desses guindastes e o contraste de cores com a paisagem em geral. O posicionamento vertical foi bem acertado também, já que deu uma profundidade de campo grande. Bela imagem!

i like the placement of these crane bridges and the cobblestone pavement in the dock berths.the vivid yellow colour steal the show of the shot.The palm tree adds a different colours in the capture.Well done Leonor.

Um "mini Puerto Madero", na capital paraense. Já estive por aí depois da "revitalização" e o passeio foi bonito, contemplando a baía de Guajará/Rio Guamá!

Gosto da idéia, das cores e do POV. Meu sonho é entrar no cais do Rio para fotografar os guinchos amarelos de lá.

Uma excelente perspectiva da estação das docas com umas belas palmeiras pelo meio, o que nao é habitual noutros portos.
Adoro o contraste entre o amarelo e o azul.

Hi Leonor, (Sorry about the earlier mistake)
You really have a feel for composition; the first impression is the bright color contrast of the yellow cranes against the splendidly blue sky. The graphic elements are also strong with the attractive diagonal lines and the repeating arches of the cranes and the fence. The palm and the frieghter make good focal points as they balance each other. Good note too, I find the combination of commercial and recreational use attractive, as does John.

Esta tinha-me escapado. è uma vista bem agradável, belas cores e POV, com uma grande profundidade. Parece-me uma ideia bem interessante ter criado um espaço de lazer e cultura nesse ambiente industrial à beira do mar, que na sua foto parece bem agradável.
