Photographer’s Note
Taken at Fowley Falls in Rossinver.
The village of Rossinver, situated at the Southern shore of Lough Melvin is an excellent centre for game fishing. There is a fishery at Eden Quay and boats and gillies are available locally. There are some spectacular walks in the area, in particular the mile long river walk to Fowley's Falls on the Glenaniff River which follows a series of 11 waterfalls.
The Organic Centre is a haven for Organic farming and gardening enthusiast and is well worth a visit.
A 9th Century Grave slab lies in Rossinver Church yard and Lisdarush Iron Age Fort is nearby.
Thanks for looking :)

beautiful shot, the waterfall looks like a staircase in the palace garden :) excellent perspective, I love how the foreground stones emphasise the feeling of distance, and the bright leave on the stone is such a strong accent and focus point. fantastic colours and clarity that nicely convey how clean and cool the water is. smart use of the ND filter, the long exposure really bring out the feeling of silk to the water. great shot.
best,
Kristine

Hi Gary,
Hahaha, off course I have to wonder whether you placed that leaf on the stone ;-). Again a wonderfully detailed picture with a good note!

Hi Gary,
What a beauty! It's got everything. The fall colours, the light, composition... The way the shot divides in different planes. And the touch of the leave on the rock. Really amazing!

Hi Gary,
the leaf matches so well the colour of the stone. The flowing water gives an impression of freshness to the whole image. Your low point of view is fantastic, makes the eye scan the complete image from left to right and back again, not to forget top and bottom of it. I really love it. Would like to be there right now.
Thanks for sharing, regards, Britta
