Photographer’s Note

I took this sunset few minutes before my first 'cloudy sunset' with more clear sun ball. I always like the sunset athmosphere with different colours, now Jakarta city begins the rainy season until Feb 2008, maybe i can not see more often such kind of sunset.

Hello Daniel,

This type of sky remind me of movies such as Dracula. Very nice colours and silhouettes against the dramatic sky and sun. Good sharpness and framing of this scene. The atmosphere is truly beautiful here. Thanks friend.

Hi Daniel,

This is the nicest of the tree, I really like the building silhouette on the foreground as it shows more a caracteristic of your region,and besides the sun is particularly impressive in this one whit the dark clouds around it.

A very nice one Daniel, much better than your previous version.
Here the clouds play a nice game with the sun and that makes it very interesting. Also the clouds on top do well in the overal composition...really a nice picture.

Awesome shot. The composition is so nice, with the profile of the building perfectly juxtaposed with the dramatic sky. You've also captured this particular shot at the perfect time, with the clouds just barely starting to pass by the sun. It gives a nice sensation of movement to the scene. Well done.

That's your speciality and you couldn be doing better! Perfect, on spot light managment, one of the very few times that we can enjoy the full solar circle without anything being "burned" of too dark. Congratulations!

Hello Daniel,
The point of view gives an interesting effect, with the sun well below the rooftop!
If you do like I do when shooting the sky with sun you underexpose, and the effect is great here...
A well balanced composition with warm attractive colours!

Hi Daniel,
once again a gorgeous sunset captured here. It is nicely framed in a well chosen vertical format. The dark light is very effective and the silhouette of the palace works greatly here. I like the slightly scary atmosphere created by the partially hidden sunball and the dark mood.

Hi Daniel,
I miss the palm leaf of the other one, but this doesn't mean that it isn't a great sunset view. It's one of those cases in which the "very good" looses impact after we have seen the "gorgeous". The compo is very well done and the tones are wonderful.
