The reflection of meagre creatures in the presence of monumentality. A dramatic contrast. Beautiful tones to your conversion, too. (In terms of composition, maybe it should have a little less pavement at the bottom of the frame, and a little more sky -- and the complete ornament on the fence -- up top.) Nice one, Anna. Very beautiful image, there is something special with it, cannot really tell what ...the desolate look, the vertical lines, ... it is really very nice. The b&w version is stronger imo.

Hi Anna, I would probably suffice with only the reflection...:) but the inclusion of the "upper world" adds an extra graphical element (and the dog!;)) to your composition, I only wish the vase wouldn't be cut off...

Un'altro splendido bianco/nero che gioca in egual misura con le geometrie architettoniche e il riflesso nella pozza.
Bella l'idea di inserire la persona e soprattutto di farla comparire anche nell' riflesso. Insomma un'inquadratura davvero ben studiata.
Davvero un grande scatto!

Visto la grande cura dell'inquadratura, non pensi che avresti potuto sacrificare un po' di asfalto per evitare di tagliare la cima del pilastro centrale?
