Photographer’s Note

This is Grand Cevahir Hotel in Istanbul, in Şişli district. Şişli is a district where the well-to-do live.

I was astounded bu the view: a road goes up and its line is continued by the hotel whose colour scheme is nice: suave pink and blue contrasting the austere shape of the building. The flags I think also make a good element here contributing depth to the image.

I wish the flags had a crescent with a star on them but they had a logo of a polytical party which I cloned out (to avoid advertisement). I could add the crescent and star to every flag with Photoshop but I am not sure I could be patient enough for that.

Классное фото!Цвета офигенные, композиция тоже. Еще облачко тут вписалось.

Cevahir Otel'i cok iyi bilirim ama bu acidan hic gormemistim..
Gercekten iyi bir aci yakalamissin. Bayraklarin olusturdugu zikzak enteresan bir hava vermis..
Bayraklardaki partinin amblemini silmesen de olurdu bence.. her zaman olmasa da, bu konularda biraz sosyo-realistim sanirim, mevcut olan neyse, oldugu gibi gosterme taraftariyim..

Hi Ilgiz,
Good urban scene, in a good vertical setting that catches the elegance and the beauty of lines of this mixture of architectural styles.
There is a good contrast of colors, which it increases by the flags of red color, and a good light.
