Photographer’s Note
This is again a photo from my school. I am sure that some of you may have seen some photos taken from this place before. Here, again. This time with DSLR camera with wide angle lens. My intention of this picture is to show y'all that Texas has amazing sky and also we have yellow time on the trees as you can see. Finally I am showing off y'all how pretty Texas Tech University is.

It'S interesting in that it's a very symmetrical composition but it still works well, presumably because of the strong colours and wonderful sharpness. Well done.

Hello Sothy,
You live in the interesting half of Texas, close to the Southwest. That also shows in the sky which reflects lack of the extreme humidity of the other half. The low-pov is wonderful here with so many distinct elements in the composition. Truly well done.

hi there, sothy! a wonderful composition that truly gives "the dues" to your university. they should use the photo in their promotion material (with yoru permission, of course). the plants (not sure what their english name is) provide excellent contrast against the blue of the sky... you really have found an excellent and interesting way to show the university structure. great POV too. my compliments and TFS.

Hi Sothy
The sky is not the only thing which is amazing; I love you foreground and the position you've taken the photo in rendering it so dynamic. Furthermore, everything is so sharp. The colours are nicely saturated too.

Hi Sothy!
I guess I recognize your school at once. Great shot here, you got wonderful colours and an amazing sky, as you usually get here. The composition is also good with the top of the tower, the different tonalities of the trees and these wonderful plants in the foreground. Great shot!

Hi Sothy,
It seems that all over the world, the nature wears the same set of jewellary and ornaments in the autumn. Here in India, specially in the state of West Bengal we celebrate this season by worshipping our Goddes 'Durga'. The white flowers in the foreground in this snap brings the message of the festive season here and we call this flower as 'Kaash' in Bengali. Can you tell me what do you call them in your region?
Ayyway the snap is outstanding.

Hi Sothy,
Ha, a strong and attractive thumbnail is a message for succes. That blue sky is to good to be true. Those things in the foreground (no idea how you call them) have a symetry with a very good perspective.
An excellent photo, very bright and very good composed and exposed...very nice work.

Hi Sothy,
Decidedly, your school is a gold mine for your talented photographic eyes. A great POV, with gorgeous colours. The trees make a nice lead-in to the tower and those fluffy plants combine with the clouds above, on that deep blue sky that I rarely am able to get.

Sothy,
this image is perfect to counteract against my stereotypical impressions that I have from Texas. The tower embeded in this magnificent colors of nature and contrasting elements and colors pf the foreground and middlegorund is simply mind boggling. The sky seems to be the icing on the cake. Great image!

These plants in FG looking like feathers are a good starting point and leads nicely the viewer to your school, with the tower which dominates the entire scene and colors are well rendered. Good capture as well of the clouds in movement.

Good place to study :-) Simply beautiful - you've brought out the sky accurately and these flamingo-like fluffy plants are such a strong accent. I wonder if the frame wouldn't look better if you'd make some steps to the left and shoot with the "tower" placed more off-centered (more on the left, without that fragment of the building, now on the left side of the tree).
Thanks for sharing!

Bonjour Sothy,
Best regards.
Daniel.

Hi Sothy,
This is a very clean image your uni could use for advertisement, as you say the sky is great, a deep blue and clouds that dynamize the view, US unis have the reputation to be so expensive that many students cross the big pond to study in France (maybe less now due to the low $$$ but when I was student we had hundreds of US students in my uni), but the view you present ranks it a lot above the average french uni building...
Have a nice day JY

This is fascinating! So much colors in the photo. The sky, seen through these plants (what are they?) is vry evocative. The building looks looks my own univarsity, the University of mining and Geology in Sofia, Bulgaria. The toweris nicely centered.
