Photographer’s Note

Bonsoir,

Je repars dans mes archives, là, une vue de l'église de S. Bartolomä, au bord du Königssee. Une belle région, j'y suis allé en mars de cette année, mais malheureusement le soleil n'était pas avec nous, c'est par une journée pluvieuse que nous avions pris un bateau pour nous rendre près de cette église!!!
Donc c'était une journée vraiment très grise et pluvieuse!!!
Cette photo est prise depuis le bateau.

The interesting architecture with the fog hanging above and the striking red & white combination against sombre colours are stunning. Especially that tone of red is eyecatching. Congrats.

wonderful shot of the famous St. Bartolomä on the königssee! :-) looks like the weather was not so nice, but it gave you an
amazing cloud/fog-band just above the church, and an empty place without tourists. well seen & captured, thor.

This black white and red composition is extremely effective. The laqueur-red domes are remarkable and eye-catching. Great clarity and depth of colour - better than in the sun I think!

Bonjour Fabien. On ne peut pas avoir le soleil tout le temps. Une journee grise est aussi part de notre vie et vraiment dire, les couleurs et la lumiere sont belles et mysterieuses. Un tres bon PoV, une belle composition. Amicalement. Klaudio.

aah des fois les journées pluvieuses peuvent être très sympa pour la photo..et ici ça marche parfaitement! j'aime bien l'ambiance créée par ce nuage bas.

Bonjour Fabien,

Très jolie petite église bien mise en valeur par ton cadrage.
Le petit filet de nuages qui lui passe au dessus est du plus bel effet tout comme les couleurs de ta photo.

bonjour,
mais tu as eu de la chance de ne pas avoir de soleil: la photo n'aurait pas ete si belle,le rouge serait moins ressorti, la foret n'aurait pas ete assortie à l'eau...

A good serie from Berchtesgaden.I like this one most because I`ve been there as a child.Even with the bad light,you managed a good shot.Good contrast of the chapel with the dark forest and the stripe of fog makes the composition perfect.
