Photographer's Note

Plaza garibaldi is a great place to see and of course hear some traditional Mexican music. The sites and sounds are really very unique and quite surreal. The musicians are dressed in spectacular costumes that are immaculately kept, pressed and polished. For me this shot captures the place very well. Although of course the primary aspect to the plaza is music, the appearance is almost as synonymous. The silver adornments on the black outfits are an enduring image of the traditions of the mariachis. This is my second posting from the plaza in this B&W style.
