| I went whale-watching off Cheticamp in Nova Scotia, Canada in a 12-seater Zodiac. We had a lot of sightings, but only of smaller pilot whales. It was a sunny afternoon, so I preset my focus, aperture, shutter speed and used a wide focal length, then just held the camera above my head and pointed at the whales and fired away. Needless to say, everyone had a whale of a time seeing the mighty creatures and shooting them (with a camera, of course). |
