Photographer’s Note

In India we believe in a lot of colours, so when we find none we create them. I thought for a long time whether this would be festive or everyday...then settled for everyday. This was the seating arrangement at a rock concert in Delhi's central park now emerging as the city's art hub

That's one of the things I like most about your country! (have not been to India yet, but experienced a bit of the color explosions in Nepal).

This is an instantly enjoyable photograph, the range and variety of colour draws the viewer immediately in for a closer look. It certainly is better than the ordinary grey seating at many venues. The neutral white frame was a perfect way to enclose that flood of colour. Magnificent.

This reminds me of a shot I took of colourful lampshades in Vietnam. The colours are wonderfully vivid and the close cropping, filling the frame is good for impact. Nice work.

Hi Aadiil, I seen this photo tonight and am amazed at the simplicity and vibrance of the photo. I had to read the note to see what was in the photo, the composition, the repetitive shapes, and the angle make this an eye catcher for sure.
