Photographer’s Note
Well, this is a park right beside my office and is maintained by our office. Surprising, its been over 5 years that I've been here and I've been inside the park loads of times, but I never noticed these gates and the creepers over it.
I was actually waiting for my friend right here and was getting irritated cause he was over 15 minutes late and that's when I saw this sight.
The sight was beautiful, with the sun going down on the top right corner. It looked like the park had an aura. Obviously, my camera could not do well and nor could I, but this is what I managed to capture.
P.s., when I saw this sight, the first thing that came to my mind was-Is saint Peter off duty? Where was he and his famous register? It somehow reminded me of the sight of heaven's gate which they usually show in Tom & Jerry and other cartoons!
Tech: NO P.P :)

I might have used my one chance to get to heaven and sneak in, while I could ;oD I think you did fine, but I kn ow how it feels when you're expecting something quite diffrenet and then when you get the prints it's just not what you saw, but to me it looks nice and I can understand you thoughts about it.

Good composition and oh well digitals are still so imperfect compared to the human eye, still the dream is there.

It looks to me like the gates are saying "come on in.." and the park looks lovely and peaceful, just right for meditation. Love the view and I would imagine that what you saw was not what the camera saw... Any chance of a retake in a different light??

good analogy! I wish Burnham to be right to be able to sneak in, would that not be nice? I think the light as seen here is well done.

Great atmosphere. The mistiness really adds to the shot. The creepers and the nice gate all give it a very heavenly feel as you say. Sort of like wiping ones eyes and seeing this sight. I really like the slightly open gate and the path leading on forever behind it. Really gives it an inviting feel and a feel of moving into eternity. Nicely spotted and photographed.

i like this picture a lot but i thought it lacked a little bit of blacks and contrast and i wanted to enhance a litte bit of the "secret garden feel". hope u like my idea :)

Great photo, like the atmosphere that you captured. At first I thought it to be a little too unfocused, but any other way the effect would deteriorate. Maybe St.Peter is there, and letting you know that when you are ready the gate is always open. Just because you can't see, doesn't mean it's not there. TFS
