Still missing someone Photo

Photographer’s Note

Thinking about all the dreams and hopes that has floated along those muddy green canals during the years. This is the place where the Eastindian trading ships used to arrive during the 18th century. Not only with cargo of tea and porcelain but also the brothers, fathers and loved ones who made and survived the great journey.

I found this photo on my harddrive the other day, I have uploaded this photo in B/W some years ago here but I think colours might do it better. :)

My favourite view from Göteborg! (I have posted several pictures from this place) You have very fine colours here and captured a peaceful atmosphere.

The silhouettes are very sharp..Youve managed the light well in this place..seems the right exposure. The elements have been carefully used with the right perspective ..overall good depth and layers.. a good job :) Like it.

Hey Eric,

Great colors and motive to this one- composition is great too. The woman in the forground takes care of the motive, that is somewhat lacking in the emptiness of the wide river.

Giving this photo a title you created excellent atmosphere!! The weather on this photo is really nice and calm and the city (quite big I guess) is empty..
You captured it perfect!

My first thought was: "it's too dark". But it all makes sense, creating the mood. I like it, especially the silhouette.
